So, sure you have a good assortment of mini-games, but then again you also have one of the shortest video games ever to hit the PS2. What’s nice about this is you won’t have to play the same sort of game over and over again, which gives you plenty of variety. There is plenty of different styles of games to play all in which we have seen done in other games. Throughout the game they put you in plenty of different mini-games in which can be somewhat enjoyable. The one feature in which the developers did a solid job on was making everything very diverse in the game. You can see right when you star the game that this is one title that needed a lot more developmental time. The controls in the game seem so loose and so off that I think most kids will get too annoyed by them. The controls of the game start the list of problems, which is a long one. In Polar Express you will be playing through an adventure style game, where you have a pretty basic set of moves, which include run, jump, duck, and action. When you create a video game that kids will enjoy is just making a simple yet enjoyable experience. With that being said which way will the game go?Ĭreating a game in which will be approved by a young person is not that hard. Although I have not seen the movie, I have heard pretty mixed feelings about it, with some saying good and others were saying bad. You know the movie Polar Express has a few things working for it (aka: Tom Hanks), and some things working against like it’s a little too early for a Christmas movie.

So is Polar Express a follower of the trend or do the developers break the curse? Read our review to find out.

It has happened, but the majority of games that go from movie to game are for the most part pretty poor. For some reason developers just can’t grasp the concept of making a movie into a successful game. Strange to have a Christmas game have the achievement of the week in April, but whatevs.Movie to game conversions - the plague that has lived on since the beginning of video games. Mastered! Aside from 12-1, this was quite easy. Today I learned there is a Polar Express game. Pretty simple set and the game was kinda fun. Thanks for this set, it's been awesome to play!ħ1st Master. 400 points isn't really necessary and just forcing a set to be that way isn't what I want. The reason they aren't like that already is because it'd make the achievements feel like they're worth too many points. It wouldn't be difficult at all to add them, but it might be redundant because the player is probably trying to get all candy canes in each level anyway. Well there aren't really any level completion achievements, just all candy canes. I did not have intention of adding more due to not having ideas, I'm not sure about the bells but I suppose that's something that could be looked at.
